About the Position

The GOPA Tech UAE office is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer with specialized expertise in PV thermal storage and strong proficiency in Thermoflex modelling for a PV plant project.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thermal design and modelling using PPSD/Thermoflex for power systems
• Conduct detailed thermal performance and system analysis
• Design and analyse heat exchangers, shell-and-tube systems, heaters and steam systems
• Execute detailed engineering calculations including thermal performance assessment
• Support thermal and mechanical design aspects of PV thermal storage applications
• Work with thermal process units, transfer systems and exchangers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in thermal design (boilers, heaters, exchangers)
• Proven Thermoflex/PPSD modelling knowledge
• Strong technical understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Plant engineering experience in thermal or process environments (advantageous)
