Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on engineering scenarios and theoretical mechanical engineering questions
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Requirements
- PhD in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering field
- Expertise in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics and vibrations, solid mechanics, control systems, finite element analysis, and mechanical design
- Experience with stress-strain analysis, HVAC systems, machine kinematics, materials selection, energy systems, manufacturing processes, and computational simulations
- Clear, metacognitive communication-“showing your work”-is essential
Nice to Have
- Peer-reviewed publications
- CAD/CAE project experience
- System design work
- Applied research in mechanical systems

- Pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location
