About the Position
Mechatronics Design Engineer – CAD
ALTEN Sweden is now looking for a Mechatronics Design Engineer with strong CAD skills to join an exciting automotive project in Gothenburg. You will work hands-on with the design and integration of mechatronic components, with a focus on packaging and system performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechatronic components using Catia
- Work with concept phase before supplier on board to finalizing design including integrating final components and systems
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on mechanical, mechatronic and electrical design and integration topics
- Ensure designs meet requirements for quality, performance, and manufacturability
Requirements
- Several years of experience in CAD design and packaging
- Strong Catia V5 skills
- Experience in mechatronic systems
- Knowledge of integration of full service supplier (FSS) products (required)
- Automotive experience
- A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
