Mechatronics Engineer – Group Design Leader

About the Position
ALTEN Sweden is now looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to take on a Group Design Leader role in an exciting automotive project in Gothenburg. You will lead development within mechatronic systems, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving technical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead development within mechatronic systems.
- Coordinate between Mechanical and Electrical domains.
- Drive technical decisions and ensure delivery on time, cost, and quality.
- Work with PLM systems such as Teamcenter and KDP/TCPLM.
- Use CarWeaver for system support and documentation.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and manage stakeholders.
- Identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in mechatronics design.
- Experience with Teamcenter and PLM systems (required).
- Familiarity with KDP/TCPLM.
- Experience with SystemWeaver / CarWeaver / StarWeaver (preferred).
- Automotive experience.
- A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
