About the Position
Vacature: Medewerker Servicedesk (Operational Services)
ING Commercial Finance, a specialist in working capital financing, is looking for a dedicated Medewerker Servicedesk to join our Operational Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring stable, reliable, and scalable processes that keep our services running smoothly.
Responsibilities
As a Medewerker Servicedesk, you will be the primary contact for our clients and the connecting link to internal teams and external partners. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing and monitoring data connections between clients and ING Commercial Finance.
- Handling customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Processing test files from new clients and registering them with our partners.
- Resolving issues related to file submissions and monitoring progress.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently resolve disruptions and customer inquiries.
- Keeping mailboxes, work instructions, and documentation up-to-date.
- Identifying trends in customer inquiries and disruptions, and translating these into improvement proposals.
- Supporting the processing and verification of NAW data to ensure data quality.
Requirements
- Customer-oriented & communicative: You will quickly and professionally interact with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurate: You work meticulously with data, files, and work instructions.
- Excel proficient: You can analyze, process, and structure complex datasets (e.g., CSV files).
- Problem-solving: You think actively and come up with practical solutions.
- Proactive & collaborative: You identify improvement opportunities, take initiative, and work well with colleagues and partners.
Nice to Have
- Educational background: Preferably a vocational (MBO-4) diploma in an administrative, financial, or commercial field.
- Experience: Experience in customer contact (telephone and email) and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Technical skills: Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and affinity with data analysis and file processing.
- Attention to detail: Precision, quality focus, and process monitoring.
- Team spirit: Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Flexibility & resilience: Staying calm and effective under pressure.
