The Senior Project Manager provides structure, leadership, and operational excellence across complex, multi-channel marketing initiatives for enterprise-level clients. This role sits at the intersection of media, creative, technology, and performance, translating business objectives into executable plans while driving high-quality delivery across paid, owned, and digital experiences.
You will lead integrated teams across Media, Data, Strategy, Technology, and Creative (Brand and UX/UI), serving as the primary delivery point of contact for large client engagements. The Senior Project Manager ensures the overall health of assigned projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and client relationships-balancing big-picture strategy with meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Integrated Campaign & Project Leadership
- Has a deep understanding of the client’s business, their needs, expectations, and requirements.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid social, paid search, programmatic media, and web.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities while maintaining momentum, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
- Translate client business goals into clear, executable project plans that align practice teams such as strategy, creative, data, media, and technology.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with multiple practice leads and teams to ensure integrated, performance-driven execution.
- Enable project teams to deliver best-in-class work by providing clarity, structure, and strong delivery leadership.
- Balance creative ambition with delivery feasibility, timelines, and budgets.
Client Leadership & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise-level clients, managing expectations, timelines, risks, and delivery outcomes.
- Interface with senior client stakeholders across marketing, media, and executive teams to ensure alignment on goals, scope, and performance.
- Ensure client sign-off is obtained at key milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
Planning, Scope & Financial Management
- Lead advanced project planning across scope, timelines, resourcing, and budgets.
- Work with client teams and internal stakeholders to estimate costs and timing for project strategy, functional design, visual design, media execution, and technology requirements using established estimating tools and processes.
- Ensure the feasibility of delivery given scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Partner with client and practice leads to identify new opportunities and support alignment decisions during pursuits.
- Own accurate financial tracking, forecasting, and margin management for assigned accounts.
Risk Management & Delivery Excellence
- Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
- Maintain a strong command of both the big picture and the details, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks while keeping teams focused on results.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across workflows and delivery practices. Responsible for identifying and driving solutions to project risk challenges at the account and project levels.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead, mentor, and support junior project managers as required.
- Help evolve, update, and set new project management processes, standards, and best practices to improve delivery consistency and scalability.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing delivery culture.
Requirements
Must have qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in project or delivery management within a marketing, media, or digital agency environment.
- Proven track record leading multi-channel marketing campaigns (paid social, search, programmatic, web, mobile, email) for enterprise-level clients.
- Advanced experience in project planning, scope management, timelines, resourcing, and budgeting.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into executable, results-driven project plans.
- Expert knowledge of digital media campaigns, web development, and digital strategy projects.
- Expert understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations, and run team meetings.
- Experience contributing to or leading process improvements for project management teams.
- Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
- Experience acting as the main client point of contact and confidently managing and setting expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to simultaneously focus on strategic vision, execution details, and performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate project teams, inspire teamwork, and take a leadership role.

- Full-Time position based in Canada.
- Salary range: CAD $90,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
