Medical Assistant (Spanish Fluency Required)

Compensation

• Salary: $25 per hour

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls with patients (in English and Spanish) to gather detailed medical and injury histories
• Listen actively and document information with a high level of accuracy using structured templates and internal systems
• Review medical records for completeness, clarity, and internal consistency
• Organize and standardize medical information to meet quality and documentation standards
• Ensure patient histories are thorough, consistent, and easy for physicians to interpret
• Review your work carefully to maintain a high standard of accuracy
• Follow established workflows and documentation protocols
• Partner with the operations team to continuously improve processes and quality

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish is required
• Structured onboarding and training provided
• One week of in-person onboarding required at our San Mateo location

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in medical scribing or healthcare administrative roles
• A strong interest in healthcare, medicine, or operations
• Comfort learning and working with new software and tools
