About the Position

We're looking for a Medior Android Developer to join our fully remote and mission-driven team. As a Medior Android Developer at , you'll build beautiful and user-friendly Android apps for our customers. Your code will be written in a timely and scalable way all while ensuring strong optimization. You'll also unit-test your code for robustness including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. You'll work closely with our product team to deliver high-quality Android apps. Ultimately, our customers on Android will have a great mobile experience thanks to you.

Responsibilities

Build user-friendly Android apps
Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code
Unit-test code for robustness, edge cases, usability, and reliability
Collaborate with the product team to deliver high-quality apps
Ensure a great mobile experience for our customers

Requirements

Experience in publishing Android apps
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
Knowledge of working with remote data via REST APIs
Solid understanding of the Android platform
Ability to make use of standard libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
Analytical skills and good time management
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Curiosity about new technologies and eagerness to implement them in work
Ability to deliver quality features with minimal supervision while keeping the team in the loop
