Responsibilities
The role involves:
- Adopting, implementing, and continuously improving our customer’s test automation strategy and standards.
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks aligned with our customer’s standards.
- Selecting, implementing, and standardizing appropriate test automation tools and technologies.
- Delivering the rollout and onboarding of test automation tools, frameworks, and standards across product development teams.
- Defining and executing an onboarding roadmap for development teams transitioning to new test standards.
- Creating and maintaining clear documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Test Engineer using different test automation tools.
- Proven experience setting up Test Management standards and processes.
- Hands-on experience with different types of Testing.
- Relevant experience with Test automation libraries such as Playwright, Postman, TestRail, Junit5, RestAssured, etc.
- Experience in writing tests using Gherkin language.
- Experience working with different programming languages (preferred languages TypeScript, Java, Python, command line) and file types (YML, JSON, etc.).
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred).
Nice to Have
- Cloud exposure (AWS preferred).
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
- A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects.
- Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation.
- Relevant university degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
