Medior OutSystems Developer

About the Position

As a Medior OutSystems Developer at NovioQ, you are responsible for helping to translate client desires into workable applications. You translate the client needs into clear requirements and user stories during the preparation phase. Not only will you aid the client in sculpting their vision for the product, but you'll also ensure that this vision is consistently and effectively communicated throughout every phase of the development process.

During the development phase, you immerse yourself in both the frontend and backend of applications, with a substantial portion of your focus also dedicated to building integrations and working with REST APIs, SQL queries, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, you are entrusted with guiding less experienced developers in your team. This includes reviewing their work for bugs and other issues and providing corrective feedback or making necessary amendments to ensure the quality and consistency of the work.

In the delivery phase, the smooth transition of the app to the client is managed by you, providing assistance in its deployment to production and overseeing subsequent maintenance. You will maintain a watchful eye at every stage of the app's lifecycle, from its initial conception through to its ongoing support, ensuring a seamless and reliable delivery.

You will be based in the Dutch office in Nijmegen, becoming part of a multinational team that also collaborates closely with colleagues in the Portuguese office in Cascais. You will work either from the office or from home, adhering to a hybrid work model. It can occur that you are asked to join a workshop or another kick-off at the clients location together with the rest of the Development team.

Responsibilities

• 10% Participating in (scrum) team meetings
• 10% Having meetings with clients
• 70% Developing OutSystems applications (depending on project)
• 10% Supporting Junior Developers and reviewing their work

Requirements

• Must possess a valid EU work permit and reside within the European Union
• Decent knowledge of OutSystems
• Experience with SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Knowledge of C# and .Net is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
• Interest in integrating other (ERP) systems is a plus
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus
• Independent and active working attitude
• Attention to quality and detail
• Client-oriented, analytical, creative, and a great problem solver

• €3.200 - €4.250 gross p/m (depending on knowledge and experience)
