Job Description

Do you want to be technically responsible for complex software solutions and sit directly with clients at the table? As a Medior Software Engineer / Consultant at Netcompany, you combine your technical expertise with client contact. You remain technically active, but also take ownership of the quality and delivery of your part of the project.

You work on digital solutions for large organizations and help clients translate complex business issues into scalable, future-proof software. Together with developers, architects, project managers, and the client, you make technical choices that have an impact.

What will you do?

As a Medior Software Engineer / Consultant, you play an important role in the successful realization of our projects. Your duties include:

• Taking responsibility for the technical quality and successful delivery of a (sub)project, in collaboration with the project manager.
• Advising clients on technical solutions and translating their business needs into scalable and maintainable software.
• Contributing to the technical solution and staying hands-on involved in development where necessary.
• Coaching and guiding junior developers and helping them grow in their technical and professional development.
• Distributing tasks within the development team and ensuring effective collaboration.
• Working closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

What do you bring?

• (HBO) bachelor's or master's degree in an IT-related field, such as Computer Science, Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• 3+ years of experience in software development within complex IT projects.
• Extensive experience with Java or.NET/C#. You do not need to master both ecosystems.
• You are accustomed to taking technical responsibility and making independent decisions.
• You can translate technical issues into solutions that align with the business objectives of the client.
• Experience in guiding, coaching, or technically managing colleagues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, in speech and writing.

What will you work on?

A large part of our projects revolves around modern web technologies. Depending on the project, you will work with:

.NET · C# · Java · Angular · React · Azure Cloud

In addition, we work with various enterprise platforms, including Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Snowflake, and Guidewire.

We do not build everything from scratch for every project. With our own platforms, such as PULSE, AMPLIO, and AMI, we combine configurable standard systems with customization where necessary. This allows us to deliver solutions faster, deploy reusable components, and tackle complex business issues with less risk.

• A gross monthly salary of €4,375 to €5,200, depending on your experience, based on a full-time employment contract.
• 26 vacation days and 8% vacation pay.
