Member of Technical Staff, Transparency, Billing & Revenue (Backend Engineer)

About the Position

Anchorage Digital is hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Transparency, Billing & Revenue (Backend Engineer) to join our team in the United States. You will be part of a full-stack engineering team responsible for implementing products within billing and revenue management to support the growth of the organization as the business scope, complexity, and regulatory oversight increase.

Responsibilities

• Implement products within billing and revenue management.
• Design and build solutions that are easily maintainable and extensible.
• Drive work independently and lead or significantly contribute to medium-to-large projects.
• Mentor and guide others on the team within their area of specialization.
• Communicate outside team boundaries to solve problems and establish positive working relationships.

Requirements

• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
• Deep appreciation for code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile software environment.
• Strong understanding of "computer science fundamentals" such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or Temporal is a plus.
• Ability to dive into open-source projects to root cause a bug.
