About Us

EdEra is a Ukrainian edtech studio that creates educational solutions for the government, businesses, and the public sector. We develop online courses, learning platforms, and educational games. Our studio includes an R&D unit, the EdComms communication agency, and products for optimizing business processes, EdEra Solutions.

Over 12 years, we have worked with major players in Ukraine and abroad: government (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ministry of Economy), businesses (Google, Coca-Cola, Kyivstar, Genesis, Backstage), and international organizations (UNICEF, USAID, UNESCO). We have also launched a series of English-language online courses about the history and culture of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ukrainian Institute (partially translated into 14 languages) and created the first Ukrainian product on Coursera. Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Middle Partnerships Manager who can take initiative, develop directions, and build partnerships.

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Enjoy exploring opportunities and forming project ideas from scratch;
• Can communicate with various stakeholders, from donors to businesses;
• Can lead independently but value team support;
• Believe in the power of education and want to influence systemic changes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop partnerships with businesses, donors, educational, and government institutions.
• Manage the partners' contact database and assist in setting up CRM.
• Initiate new partnerships, search for ideas for long-term projects, and propose ways to scale cooperation.
• Analyze partner requests, agree on the format of cooperation, and propose solutions that align with EdEra's mission.
• Prepare grant applications, tender documents, and short analytical reports.
• Conduct negotiations and agree on win-win terms of cooperation.
• Support internal coordination between EdEra teams within partnership projects.
• Develop new areas of cooperation-from "cold" inquiries to forming joint ideas.
• External representation-participate in pitches, conferences, working meetings, and networking on behalf of EdEra.

Requirements

• Experience as a Partnerships Manager (2+ years).
• Ability to work simultaneously with multiple partners or directions, track priorities, and fulfill agreements.
• Skills in evaluating partnership effectiveness, forming short reports, and analytics for the team.
• Understanding of legal and financial frameworks of cooperation.
• Participation in the formation and support of budgets for partnership and grant projects.
• Work with communication, product, methodology, finance teams to align goals and tasks.
• Work with deadlines, reporting, compliance requirements, and grant conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Ukrainian and English (Upper-Intermediate+).
• Residence in Kyiv, ability to attend offline meetings and events.
• Experience in preparing and supporting grant projects with international donors (EU, USAID, UNICEF, UNESCO, etc.).
• Understanding of tender procurement processes and international funding rules.

Nice to Have

• Experience in negotiations with Middle and C-level business management.
• Experience in GR communications.
• Experience in negotiations in English or pitching for international partners.
• Experience in budgeting large projects (over $100,000+), financial planning, and reporting.
• Experience in public speaking or representing the organization at events.
• Higher education in international relations, management, economics, communications, or related fields.
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages (besides English).
• Letters of recommendation or case studies of successful partnerships.

Selection Process:

1. Technical screening of CV and motivational letter.
2. Online interview with the Head of Partnerships (45-60 min).
3. Test task.
4. Online defense of the test task (up to 30 min).
5. Interview with the CEO.
