What You Will Do
Imagine: You navigate through a digital factory – and every interaction directly affects virtual representations of real machines.
This is where your master's thesis comes in.
You will explore how humans can interact with Digital Twins in the Metaverse – not just theoretically, but practically.
You will develop concepts for direct peer-to-peer interaction between humans and machines in the digital space and investigate which technologies make this possible.
Topics such as digital identity, data protection, and security play an important role – as well as the question of how this can be meaningfully transferred to industrial applications.
If you wish, you can implement your ideas directly as a prototype and show what real interaction in the Industrial Metaverse can look like.

This is for you if... you are studying computer science, human-computer interaction, or something similar and are interested in the following topics:
- Digital interaction between humans and systems
- Metaverse, Digital Twins, or new interfaces
- Design of modern, interactive technologies
