MES Consultant for Manufacturing OT (hybrid)

About the Position

Join SpiraTec Solutions Inc. as a MES Consultant for Manufacturing OT in a hybrid role, supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing digitalization.

Responsibilities

• Learn with experienced colleagues the manufacturing process of customers in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industries.
• Work in different phases of a MES project and support the team during the design, development, installation, deployment, and commissioning of industrial IT solutions at a customer.
• Contribute to the implementation of technologies for digitalization and IT/OT and support the installation and qualification of pharmaceutical equipment and computer systems according to GxP and GAMP5.
• Support production processes in production-related IT/OT (MES/MOM) systems and apply relevant industrial standards (ISA95, OPC UA, etc.).
• Support the implementation of production management systems (MES/MOM) for our customers and support their integration into enterprise resource planning systems (L4) or shop floor systems (L2).

Requirements

• Solid experience in the OT environment (MES) in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industries.
• Experience in configuration and administration of MES Systems or Historian Systems (PI).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of technical documentation writing and presentation skills.
• Team player who enjoys working in a dynamic project environment and has some experience in software engineering and/or with production-related IT solutions.
• Occasional travel to customer sites as part of this role.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of GxP, preferably in manufacturing and regulatory regulations and requirements for biologics/pharmaceuticals processes.
• Knowledge in process consulting/optimization and requirements engineering and/or in vertical MES integration (ERP, automation, LIMS, logistics).
