MOM consultants

About the Position

We are looking for MOM consultants to join our team in Ardooie, Belgium. Together with the project manager and solution architect, you will be a contact point for the customer. You will be responsible for configuring our Momentum software according to the customer’s requirements and the project planning.

Brighteye was founded in 2003 and created Momentum, a configurable manufacturing operations management software platform. Our distinct project approach and methodology enable us to build long-term projects and relationships, putting the customer at the center of the partnership.

We started with local digital transformation projects and over the years grew to a combination of global roll-outs for international customers and local customers in different industries.

Responsibilities

• You are a contact point for the customer together with the project manager and solution architect.
• You configure and set up the Momentum software according to the customer project. When needed, you can execute small customizations to the software, in support of and as an extension to the configuration projects.
• You translate the customer's requirements and the solution architect's architecture into Momentum terminology and tasks for the team.
• Support and continuously improve the system functionalities for projects of industry leaders.
• You work with international teams and specialists who are at the forefront of production process improvement.

Requirements

• Knowledge of business flows and production processes and know how to translate these into the software.
• Experience in object-oriented coding and ability to set up a software model. Some knowledge of an object-oriented coding language (C#, Java, C++,...) is required.
• Ideally, experience with the implementation of Manufacturing Operations Management software such as MES, WMS, QMS, APS, and batching. Or relevant experience in the 5 layers of the automation model (Field, PLC, SCADA, MOM, ERP).
• Knowledge of the MOM standards (ISA 95 and ISA 88).
• Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
• Analytic reasoning.
• Team leader mentality.

Nice to Have

• Experience with C#, Java, or C++.
