Microsoft Dynamics 365 Tech Lead

About the Position

On behalf of our Client, Mobilunity is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Tech Lead. Our client is an established international organization with a Dynamics 365 platform supporting business operations across several countries worldwide.

The CRM team works closely with the CRM Product Owner and Business Owners to develop, maintain, and continuously improve the platform. The environment covers Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Contact Center, and Customer Insights – Journeys, together with Power Platform and Dataverse.

The role combines hands-on development and technical leadership. Initially, the focus will be on hands-on development and establishing strong technical foundations while the development team is being built. Once the team is fully staffed, the role will evolve toward technical leadership, architecture, ALM, code quality, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Team & Technical Leadership

• Lead and support a team of Dynamics 365 developers.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Coordinate and distribute technical work across the development team.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
• Coach developers and support their technical growth.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues and incidents.
• Participate in technical interviews and onboard new developers.

Dynamics 365 Development

• Develop and maintain solutions across Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Contact Center, and Customer Insights – Journeys.
• Deliver hands-on development using C# plugins, JavaScript, and Power Automate.
• Design and implement Power Platform solutions on Dataverse.
• Work with integrations and APIs where required.
• Monitor platform performance, plugin execution, API limits, and technical debt.

ALM & Development Standards

• Define and document development standards, including naming conventions, code structure, error handling, and logging.
• Establish and maintain Dynamics 365 ALM practices across DEV, UAT, PrePROD, and PROD.
• Manage solution strategy, source control, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
• Own release management and environment strategy.
• Ensure solutions remain maintainable, scalable, and aligned with Microsoft best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Dynamics 365 / Power Platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and Dynamics 365 plugins.
• Strong JavaScript experience for Dynamics 365 customization.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate.
• Proven experience with Dynamics 365 ALM, including solutions, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar platform.
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform and Dataverse development patterns.
• Experience defining development standards and conducting code reviews.
• Experience leading or mentoring Dynamics 365 developers, formally or informally.
• Strong understanding of platform performance, plugin execution, API limits, and technical debt.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

• PL-400 or PL-600 certification.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Contact Center, or Customer Insights – Journeys.
• Experience with Azure services and API integrations.
• TypeScript and PCF experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery and Scrum.
• Experience with Azure DevOps backlog management.
• Experience working in international or multi-country environments.
• French or German language skills.
