Mid Accountant

About the Position

Corner Case Technologies is looking for an experienced and responsible Mid Accountant who will ensure flawless company accounting management and actively contribute to the improvement of our financial processes.

We are seeking someone who speaks the language of numbers fluently, maintains a precise approach to daily operations, and has the ambition to grow along with a tech company-looking at financial statements and seeing not just neat rows of data, but the underlying business logic.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Management: Ensure seamless organization of daily company accounting in compliance with Lithuanian legal acts, Business Accounting Standards (VAS), and tax laws.
• Financial Reporting: Timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Payroll Accounting: Accurate calculation of payroll, holiday pay, and sick leave, as well as the submission of related tax declarations.
• Control and Reconciliations: Manage accounts receivable/payable, oversee reconciliation statements, and control bank operations and general ledger entries.
• Document Administration: Handle the company's financial documentation, process primary documents, collect signatures, and represent the company's interests before regulatory authorities.
• Analytics and Management Support: Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts, perform data analysis, and provide required financial reports to the management team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of successful experience in the accounting field.
• A university degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian legal acts, the tax system, and Business Accounting Standards (VAS).
• Analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite (especially Excel for data structuring and analysis).
• Fluency in English (at least B2 level, as we work in an international environment).
• Advantage: Experience working with the "BSS" accounting software.
