About the Position
Join ORIGIN and contribute to technically challenging production and design tasks in a remote, structured environment. We are looking for a Mid-Level CNC Programming Engineer (5-Axis, Surfcam) to support CNC programming, testing, and optimization for 5-axis machining workflows, while collaborating with engineers and international clients.
In this role, you will work with technical documentation and drawings, create and improve machining programs, and support the development of manufacturing processes for formwork elements and their components. This is a strong opportunity for a specialist who wants to grow by working on complex tasks, cross-functional collaboration, and real production impact.
Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, configuring, and optimizing CNC control programs for DMS Router 5-axis machines (Fagor 8055/8065) using Surfcam.
- Working with technical documentation and drawings.
- Testing and fine-tuning CNC programs.
- Designing and developing form-generating elements for formwork.
- Creating technological processes for manufacturing formwork elements and their components.
- Ensuring safe, secure storage and organized archiving of CNC control programs.
- Collaborating with other specialists to achieve shared project goals.
- Communicating with international clients.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar CNC programming/engineering role.
- Ability to create 3D models from drawings and develop machining programs based on them.
- Practical experience with CNC programming for 5-axis machines.
- Experience working with technical documentation and drawings.
- English proficiency for written communication and client interaction (Intermediate level or higher).
- Responsibility, attention to detail, and willingness to grow professionally.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Surfcam in production workflows.
- Experience with testing and fine-tuning CNC programs on real equipment.
- Experience designing tooling/form-generating elements for formwork.
- Experience communicating with international clients in English.
- Strong understanding of secure file management, versioning, and CNC program archiving.
