Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist to support the IP&S team in Huntsville, AL!

The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with multiple cross-functional peers and managers. Flexibility, initiative, detail orientation, and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, integrate, analyze, and maintain comprehensive plans and schedules for proposals, projects, and major initiatives to achieve objectives using tools such as Microsoft Project or Open Plan Professional (OPP).
  • Conduct studies and analyses across programs and business units to assess impacts, constraints, and strategies related to product development, production rates, and process improvements.
  • Develop production schedules for parts / assemblies. BRAIDSS experience is preferred, but not necessary as we will train the right candidate.
  • Collaborate with various programs and functions at other BDS sites across the US.
  • Identify, analyze, and report on schedule performance variances; conduct risk and opportunity analyses, and propose solutions to management.
  • Work with internal customers to create performance recovery plans and document them as needed.
  • Analyze program scenarios to assess the impact of proposed schedule changes on Supply Chain and Fabrication using tools such as Assurance of Supply (AoS) Bom Simulation and MPS Change Simulation.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • 1+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
    • Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
    • BRAIDSS experience is preferred, but will train the right candidate
    • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional (OPP), Primavera, etc.
