About the Position
Mid or Senior Software Engineer (PLSQL, JavaScript, Java) to Trade Finance team
Are you passionate about Oracle PLSQL, JavaScript, and Java? At Swedbank, you have the opportunity to be part of the Trade Finance Baltics - agile cross-functional team (software engineers, scrum master, business analyst, product owner), located in Vilnius.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the current IT application using Oracle technology Forms / Reports and PLSQL (our business logic is implemented with this technology)
- Build new UI solutions using JavaScript (Angular or Vue to be decided), Java. Goal to migrate from Forms / Reports to a new UI!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, or a great reason for not having one
- In-depth experience with Oracle database and PLSQL
- Strong background in Java or JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized applications
- Experience with application server’s setup & configuration, authentication & authorization (ex. Entra ID), load balancing, firewalls (understanding how it works)
- Basic scripting skills for log analysis and troubleshooting
- Scrum development experience
- Analytical mindset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficient English, spoken and written
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports
- Experience with any of the JS frameworks (ex. Vue, React, Angular)
- Experience in migrating IT application User Interface from one technology to another (ex. from Oracle Forms to JavaScript-based UI)
- Experience in writing UI tests using Junit, Selenium or other frameworks

- Competitive salary ranging from 3900 - 5800 € gross (before taxes) for Mid-level or 4900 – 7300 € gross (before taxes) for Senior level
