About the Position

We are looking for a Middle 2D Spine Animator to join a dedicated partner project, who will play an important role in bringing games to life through high-quality, engaging, and performance-optimized animation.
You will work closely with Art Leads, Art Directors, Game Designers, and Developers, creating animations across different areas of the game - from characters and environments to game symbols, backgrounds, and VFX.
Responsibilities
- Create animations in Spine 2D across all areas of the game, including characters, backgrounds, game symbols, and VFX
- Work closely with Art Leads, Game Designers, and Developers to understand animation goals and implement them into the game
- Receive and incorporate feedback from Art Leads and Art Directors to meet the creative and technical expectations of the project
- Support developers throughout the game development process
- Optimize animation assets to ensure smooth game performance
- Create resource-efficient animations that maintain high visual quality and performance, particularly for mobile devices
- Collaborate effectively with the team and maintain clear communication throughout the development process
- Contribute creative ideas and help push the quality and believability of animation in slot games to a new level
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience as a 2D Animator
- 1.5+ years of experience with After Effects
- 1.5+ years of experience with Spine 2D
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with character animation, environments, and transitions
- Strong eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting
- Clear understanding of animation best practices, including optimization, layering, and project structure/hierarchy
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work
- Creative, passionate, and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize
