About the Position

We are seeking a Middle Angular Developer to join our frontend team in Ukraine, focusing on scalable web applications with Angular and TypeScript.

MK-Consulting develops state registers, portals, information, and workflow systems, builds integrations between services, and automates complex data processes. We cover the full cycle - from discovery and design to launch and support in production.

We work with government agencies, public organizations, donor programs, and other clients who need reliable digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Angular 20+ and TypeScript.
Implement new functionality using modern Angular features: Signals, standalone components, and new control flow.
Design the structure of components and modules, work with state management and reactive data flows.
Create and develop responsive UI components and UI kits based on Angular Material and Tailwind CSS: work with theming, style overrides, and custom components according to the design system.
Integrate frontend with REST API, work with cookie-based authorization, CSRF protection, interceptors, error handling, and loading states.
Depending on the project, develop interactive maps and geodata visualizations using Leaflet.
Work with Angular SSR, hydration, SEO metadata, and Open Graph, and improve Core Web Vitals.
Write unit and integration tests; currently, Vitest is used for this in our stack.
Ensure the accessibility of interfaces according to WCAG and ARIA.
Analyze and optimize the performance, stability, and operation of applications on various devices.
Participate in task decomposition and estimation, code review, and discussion of technical solutions.
Collaborate with backend developers, QA, designers, business analysts, and other team members.

Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience in frontend development and confident practical expertise with Angular and TypeScript.
Deep understanding of JavaScript, browser platform, asynchronous programming, and reactive programming.
Understanding of the principles of building scalable frontend applications: component architecture, separation of responsibilities, state management, and data flows.
Knowledge of engineering principles and patterns, ability to create clean and maintainable code, and choose appropriate solutions without unnecessary complexity.
Experience in the full cycle of frontend functionality implementation - from requirements gathering and technical design to quality assurance and production deployment.
Engineering culture: attention to testability, security, performance, accessibility, and ease of future maintenance of the solution.
Ability to independently work out and evaluate tasks, clarify requirements, communicate risks in advance, justify decisions, and work constructively with the team.

Nice to Have

Experience in optimizing cartographic data or other large volumes of information on the client side.
Practical experience in backend development on any stack and working with relational or non-relational databases.
Experience in developing government services, registers, portals, or user accounts.
Experience with complex forms, tables, role-based interfaces, and design systems.
Experience with monorepo, micro-frontends, or building a shared frontend platform for multiple products.
Experience in production diagnostics of frontend applications.
Practical use of AI tools in development.
