About the Position
Middle AQA (Python) Engineer IRC291573
Our customer is one of the biggest companies in the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices, striving to provide high-quality products and services. The project goals include automation testing of video and audio content and other services available via digital media players using a custom test automation framework.
Responsibilities
- Working with a solid automation test framework and infrastructure
- Developing new and updating existing automation scripts
- Code review
- Debugging issues and creating bug reports
- Documentation creation
- Communication with international teams (US, UK)
- Manual work: about 20%
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development
- Experience developing, maintaining, and extending automated test frameworks and test suites
- Good knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and software testing lifecycle
- Understanding of test automation design patterns, including Page Object Model (POM)
- Experience with Scrum/Agile
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, developed interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, and able to easily switch between assignments
