About the Position

Middle BAS Engineer

In this role, you will support and enhance business-critical solutions built on the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform, ensuring their reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability. You will work with managed forms, integrations, and modern 1C technologies, including AI-driven tools, while collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and customers in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver secure and high-quality technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing 1C systems, ensuring stability, timely issue resolution, and minimal disruption to business operations
• Apply 1C technologies, including AI-based tools and approaches, to troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve challenging and non-standard support cases
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing solutions in accordance with established engineering standards
• Maintain and document programs according to defined software engineering standards, ensuring clarity and consistency
• Provide accurate estimations of effort required to implement fixes and technical solutions, supporting realistic planning
• Integrate and maintain integrations between 1C and third-party systems and services via API, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange
• Establish a secure customer data management process, including data obtaining, exchange, storing, retention, and deletion
• Operate in line with company Privacy Information and Data Protection policies, ensuring the security of customer data used for project purposes
• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders within Agile/Scrum ceremonies, communicating progress and ideas clearly

Requirements

• 3+ years of 1C development experience with managed forms
• Strong knowledge of the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform and solid understanding of 1C architecture
• Practical experience integrating 1C with third-party systems and services (API)
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience working with AI agents is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a team-player mindset
• Experience in close collaboration with customers to align on requirements and expectations regarding technical solutions
• Attention to detail and commitment to engineering and documentation standards
• English level intermediate or higher
