About the Position

Middle C# Developer (Data Management)

Join Veeam’s engineering team to help build the backend services that power our next-generation, cloud-based data protection platform. In this role, you’ll design and deliver reliable, scalable SaaS microservices in Golang, integrate with managed cloud services, and take full ownership of your work-from design and code reviews through to production operations and on-call responsibilities.

You’ll bring experience with cloud-native systems, event-driven architecture, and building secure, well-tested services that perform at scale. Collaboration is key, and you’ll work closely with a distributed engineering team to enhance reliability, efficiency, and customer outcomes. Continuous learning and shared design discussions are part of our culture, helping you grow and drive improvements across the platform.

Your success will be reflected in the stability and performance of the services you develop, the quality and security of your code, and the positive impact you make in building customer trust in our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing business logic for Veeam’s core product lines (Cloud, SaaS, backup & replication, and more)
  • Developing new features and enhancing functionality across different product modules
  • Taking ownership of major components and contributing to architectural decisions, both independently and within a team
  • Analyzing and establishing business requirements in collaboration with the product management team
  • Estimating the efforts required for feature implementation, including costs and capacity

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development in commercial projects
  • Proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of the.NET platform, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with software architecture design
  • Proactive, result-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms
  • Experience developing SaaS or enterprise-grade environments

We Offer

  • 25 vacation days, 4 sick days, 21 paid medical leave days, plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares
  • Premium private medical insurance for employees and dependents
  • Daily meal vouchers for restaurants and groceries (180 CZK per working day)
  • Flexible cafeteria platform with thousands of lifestyle benefit options
  • Multisport Card for gym and wellness, with family add-on options
  • Annual public transport reimbursement up to a set limit
  • Corporate mobile plan with optional family tariff
  • Opportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops, and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning
