Middle Embedded Firmware Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Middle Embedded Firmware Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in embedded software development for ARM-based MCUs. This role is available in a Remote + Office capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for ARM-based MCUs
• Implement bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
• Work with communication protocols/interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
• Gain practical experience with wireless SoCs: BLE, Wi-Fi, GPS, GSM
• Utilize experience with cloud platforms: Azure IoT Suite, AWS IoT Core, etc.
• Use solid experience with an oscilloscope, a multimeter, as well as signal analyzers and generators
• Apply basic knowledge of Analog/Digital electronics and electronic schematics understanding
• Approach problem solving, documentation, and testing systematically
• Hold an MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical education
• Communicate proficiently in at least intermediate English level

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as an embedded engineer
• Strong knowledge of C programming
• Experience with ARM-based MCU embedded software development
• Bare-metal and RTOS-based systems development
• Knowledge of communication protocols/interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
• Practical experience with wireless SoCs: BLE, Wi-Fi, GPS, GSM
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure IoT Suite, AWS IoT Core, etc.
• Solid experience with an oscilloscope, a multimeter, as well as signal analyzers and generators
• Basic knowledge of Analog/Digital electronics and electronic schematics understanding
• Systematic approach to problem solving, documentation, and testing
• MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical education
• At least intermediate English level

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of other programming languages or technology stacks: C++ or Python
• Experience with single-board computers, like: Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson Nano, etc.
• Ability to take on the role of a primary developer/ tech lead of the project
