Middle Finance Specialist

The role can be performed on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the process of communication with external accountants and auditors including collection, review, and organization of financial documentation for the Company including invoices, acts, and other supporting documents, as well as replies to various info requests;
• Supporting the process of VAT returns and compliance with Cyprus IT box regime, including calculations and documentation;
• Preparing PL's forecast;
• Actively participating in yearly and monthly reporting process – preparing calculations, accounting entries posting, accruals recognition, preparation, and review of financial statements;
• Preparing and issuing the Company’s invoices to the Partners and clients including all subsequent tracking of payments statuses and communications flow where required;
• Improving and automating internal accounting processes;
• Analyzing, optimizing, and controlling the Company’s expenses;
• Cash management of payment systems and Banks (weekly reconciliations, money withdrawals/ top-ups, balances monitoring, conducting payments);
• Producing Ad Hoc reports when necessary;
• Hybrid work model: 2 days at the office, 3 days from home.

Requirements

• Relevant working experience in finance or accounting – no less than 2 years;
• Confident knowledge in Accounting and Financial Reporting;
• Advanced Excel user;
• English – upper intermediate and higher;
• Able to learn quickly and to work within deadlines in a challenging environment;
• Strong communication skills;
• Work experience in Big 4 and ACCA qualification would be a plus.
