About the Position

Middle Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, TypeScript)

Join Intellias as a Middle Full Stack Engineer focusing on Node.js and TypeScript to develop scalable digital solutions for an AI company.

Responsibilities

• Start building and pushing code in your first week and ship impactful features in your first few months.
• Build and maintain reliable Back-End services powering customer support workflows, and develop intuitive Front-End interfaces for support agents.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of customer support tooling for enterprise clients.
• Learn how to build infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Team and cross-functional partners (Support, Trust, Data) to deliver effective tools that improve customer outcomes.
• Uphold high engineering standards with strong emphasis on documentation, testing, and user experience.
• Evaluate the systems and technology in place today, and propose systems and architecture that can scale for the future.
• Bring expertise and best practices to the team, supporting knowledge sharing within the Enterprise Team in Kyiv.

Requirements

• Brings at least three years of experience in Full-Stack development (Typescript, Node.js, React.js)
• Displays excellent software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Is ready to tackle infrastructure challenges when needed.
• Knows modern web client development and testing tools.
• Has experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Demonstrates perseverance when faced with tough technical issues.
• Cares about the end-user experience and strives to ensure high quality.
• Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with policy engines such as OPA/Styra (e.g., in an Envoy sidecar architecture)
• AWS Cognito experience, including cost-optimization practices (e.g., token caching)
• Familiarity with production debugging/observability tools (Kibana, Elasticsearch, or similar)
• Experience with MongoDB aggregation pipelines
• Experience with server-state management libraries on the frontend (e.g., TanStack Query)
• Understanding of common React pitfalls such as useEffect request storms
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ or Kafka)
