About the Position
We are seeking a Middle Fullstack Developer (Next.js) to join our European team. You will be part of an ambitious project to unify the technology stack for a customer providing tourist services in Iceland. The new platform will be built with Next.js, TypeScript, Vercel, Sanity CMS, Algolia, and Sokoni as the primary booking system.

Responsibilities
- End-to-end product development: from design and architecture to implementation and improvement (backend, frontend, APIs)
- Collaborate with Tech Lead and Technical Owner on Customer site to contribute to the technical vision and roadmap
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices
- Create technical documentation
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and cloud infrastructure
- Work closely with a distributed engineering team in an Agile environment
Requirements
- Degree (bachelor or master) in computer science or a comparable course of study
- 3+ years of software engineering experience using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Next.js including API Routes, server components, server actions
- Proficiency with TypeScript
- Basic knowledge of Node.js
- Experience integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
- Understanding of caching strategies, authentication & security best practices
- High standards for code quality, performance, security, and user experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level
Nice to Have
- Experience with Github Workflows
- Experience deploying on Vercel
- Knowledge of serverless architecture
- Familiarity with containerization tools, especially Docker
- Building and optimizing integrations with Sanity CMS
