About the Position

Middle Manual QA Engineer

We are seeking a Middle Manual QA Engineer with 1+ years of experience in testing web/mobile applications to join our team. Remote work in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Work with an advanced adaptive training program to confirm existing skills in practice and fill any gaps in specialized knowledge corresponding to the level of Middle QA Engineer.
• Collaborate with a mentor and technical leader to develop hard and soft skills, identify strengths, and further improve them within an individual development plan.
• Work on a real ongoing project as a team member – analyze the business logic of the application and cover it with tests.
• Dive into a powerful QA community. Participate in community development work.
• Share experience with Trainee QA as a mentor.
• Enjoy the processes of finding bugs and improving software quality.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in testing web/mobile applications.
• Knowledge of testing methods and technologies, understanding of formal software development processes (SDLC).
• Experience in building testing strategies for various projects and evaluating test coverage.
• Experience with bug tracking systems and version control systems.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.
• API testing experience.
• SQL knowledge.
• English level not lower than Upper-Intermediate (B2).
• Ability to quickly switch between tasks.
• Flexible analytical and algorithmic thinking, a desire for self-development, perseverance in finding solutions and achieving goals.

Nice to Have

• Higher education in the field of information technology or a related field.
• Basic programming or scripting skills.
• Experience with test automation in Java, C#, Python, or other languages.
• Experience with CI-CD processes.
• Experience in Performance testing.
• Experience with traffic analyzers (Fiddler, WireShark, or others).
