About the Position
We are looking for a talented Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team!
This is a full-time, permanent position available in Lviv, Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis and processing
- Applying test design techniques
- Creating test cases/checklists and other types of test documentation
- Estimating the required testing time
- Performing testing activities on the project, communicating with developers and project managers
- Conducting functional, system, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests on web projects
- Troubleshooting issues on environments
- Performing API testing
- Preparing Test Summary reports
- Demonstrating projects to stakeholders
- Mentoring junior QA engineers
Requirements
- 2+ years of manual software functional testing
- Solid experience in testing web apps
- Experience developing test strategies and test cases
- Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements, and testing
- Solid knowledge of test management, reporting, and bug tracking tools (TestRail, Jira, or similar)
- Experience with writing test cases, and executing them manually
- Good written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes of bugs in test/stage/production environments
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Solid understanding of SDLC and QA involvement on every stage (inputs / outputs)
- Understanding of Scrum methodology
- Intermediate level of English (written). Speaking English is not a must, but will be a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in testing of RESTful APIs (Postman)
- Experience in testing mobile applications
