About the Position

We’re looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer (Web) to join Edlight- a business that builds AI products and expert services for students and professionals.

Responsibilities

Performing comprehensive manual testing of web products throughout all stages of development.
Verifying responsive layouts and ensuring correct UI behavior across different devices, screen resolutions, and browsers.
Creating, maintaining, and updating testing documentation, including test cases, checklists, and detailed bug reports.
Participating actively in Scrum processes, including planning, daily meetings, and retrospectives.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional development teams to improve product quality and QA processes.
Working with REST API and validating client-server interactions.
Performing database checks using MySQL queries.
Gradually contributing to QA Automation initiatives in line with the company’s technical goals.

Requirements

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing levels, and best practices.
Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Hands-on experience testing web products.
Practical experience with responsive and cross-browser testing.
Understanding of client-server architecture and REST API interactions.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for UI analysis.
Confident working with MySQL and writing queries for data validation.
Experience using task trackers and test management systems, particularly Jira.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
Experience with or theoretical understanding of test automation using Nightwatch.js.
