About the Position
Middle PHP Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

Our team is looking for a Middle PHP Fullstack Developer to collaborate with our customers on designing and implementing a wide range of web front-ends and back-ends. You will continuously improve existing applications and tests, evaluate and implement new technologies, and maintain current systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing a wide range of web front-ends and back-ends in collaboration with our customers
- Continuous improvement/further development of existing applications and tests
- Evaluation and implementation of new technologies
- Migration, expansion, and maintenance of current systems
- Close collaboration with other platform developers (e.g., Android, iOS, .NET), project management, and the design and quality assurance team
Requirements
- Proactive, communicative, independent, and solution-oriented
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, media informatics, media technology, or business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in frontend/backend development from internships or employment
- Knowledge of PHP (7 & 8), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, as well as a sense for good UX (user experience)
- Solid knowledge of MySQL & Github
- Knowledge of the PHP framework Symfony & Drupal CMS
- Understanding of REST APIs and mastery of the CRUD standard (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
- Knowledge of written and spoken German to at least C1 level
- English skills in spoken and written at least B2 level
Nice to Have
- Experience in writing unit tests and E2E tests (Behat, Gherkin)
- Knowledge of MariaDB
