About the Position

Akurateco is a cutting-edge white-label payment software provider with 15+ years of hands-on experience in the payment industry. We bring our clients fully-brandable and easily customizable payment software.

We are actively looking for a Middle QA Manual!

Responsibilities

• Conducting functional, regression, smoke, UI, and API testing
• Testing web applications in mobile browsers, including responsive UI and mobile UX on iOS and Android
• Participating in QA process management throughout the SDLC
• Creating and maintaining test documentation (writing acceptance criteria, bug reports, test plans, checklists, test cases, etc.)

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a similar QA role
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in REST API testing
• Database proficiency: MySQL
• Deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Proficiency in Postman, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience working with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Solid understanding of and experience with web services
• Basic knowledge of Linux (command line interface, file management, and system log analysis)
• Experience with mocks and stubs (creating and utilizing mock services for testing purposes)
• Log analysis skills (experience with tools like Elasticsearch / Kibana)
• Experience in testing mobile web applications
• Basic knowledge of GitLab CI
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• English level: Intermediate

Nice to Have

• 1+ years of experience in Fintech, Banking, or Telecom domains
• Familiarity with CI/CD, ELK stack, RabbitMQ, Docker, or JMeter
• Experience testing applications built on microservices architecture
