Middle React Native Developer

Bitmedia Labs is an international product company founded in 2014. Today, we’re a team of 150+ specialists working globally, building products used by millions worldwide.

Our work spans two core areas:

• Game Development – browser-first games for global audiences, centered on reward-driven progression and long-term engagement.
• Digital Advertising – high-performance advertising and affiliate platforms across Web2 and Web3 markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Ensure high-quality code and best practices in mobile development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and work with async data flows.
• Implement responsive and adaptive UI design for multiple screen sizes.
• Utilize state management solutions such as Redux, MobX, or Zustand.
• Work with native modules and third-party React Native libraries.
• Use Git for version control and follow best practices in code review.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in mobile development with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Expo (managed and bare workflows).
• Solid understanding of React Native core concepts: navigation (React Navigation), lifecycle, hooks, and component architecture.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, MobX, or Zustand.
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with async data flows.
• Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive UI design for multiple screen sizes.
• Basic experience with animations using React Native Animated API or React Native Reanimated.
• Familiarity with both iOS and Android platforms, their differences, and deployment processes (App Store & Google Play).
• Experience working with native modules and third-party React Native libraries.
• Proficient in using Git as a code versioning tool (branching strategies, code review practices).
• Passion for continuous learning, with an ability to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and incorporate them into your work.
• Excellent self-management skills, with a high level of autonomy.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js backend development (REST API, Express.js / NestJS).
• Experience with React.js for web development.
• Familiarity with Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Push Notifications).
• Experience with push notifications (FCM / APNs).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Detox.
• Experience with containerization technologies, Docker in particular.
• Familiarity with WebSocket or real-time communication technologies.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Personal interest in gaming or familiarity with mobile gaming products and trends.
