About the Position

Middle Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer with over 1 year of experience to join our AgTech project team in Ukraine, focusing on Face Recognition technologies.

About the Project

Applications, services, and platforms based on Face Recognition technologies that assist in retail, banking, access control in offices and large enterprises, security control, and more.

Tech stack: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, RSpec, PostgreSQL, GitLab/CI

Responsibilities

Communication with the client and the product team on the client side
Technical analysis of client business requirements and proposals for their implementation
Communication with the project team lead on strategic issues
Identifying priorities, problems, and solutions
Planning team productivity, managing team members' rest schedules
Monitoring project deadlines at all stages of development
Forming teams, invoices, and controlling their payment
Mentoring and motivating the team

Requirements

Basic knowledge of building service projects
Product thinking and a desire to improve the client's product
Analytical skills and the ability to critically evaluate client proposals
Ability to articulate proposals
Facilitation and the ability to engage the team in expressing ideas and suggestions
Broad worldview, ability to analyze other products in the field
English Intermediate+ for communication by voice and in correspondence
