About the Position
Middle Ruby on Rails Developer
We are seeking a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer with 1.5+ years of experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and strong SQL knowledge. Remote work from Kharkiv.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Work with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL knowledge
- Implement APIs and ensure strong understanding of OOP
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality software
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience with Ruby (with Ruby on Rails)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of SQL beyond ActiveRecord
- Strong understanding of OOP
- Experience with APIs
- English language level should be sufficient for written communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cloud, AWS
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Experience with other common libraries such as RSpec
- Experience in Frontend development (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS)
