Middle Ruby on Rails Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer with 1.5+ years of experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails. The role requires strong SQL knowledge, OOP understanding, and API experience. Remote work from Kharkiv is available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Requirements

• At least 1.5 years of experience with Ruby (with Ruby on Rails)
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of SQL beyond ActiveRecord
• Strong understanding of OOP
• Experience with APIs
• English language level should be sufficient for written communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloud, AWS
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with other common libraries such as RSpec
• Experience in Frontend development (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS)
