[Magnite] Middle SDET Java (Platform team)

About the Position

We are seeking a Middle SDET Java for our Platform team to join our innovative advertising technology company based in Ukraine. This role is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Be a creative problem-solver who can design and implement reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions to challenging problems.
• Write production-ready code and unit tests that meet both system and business requirements (Java).
• Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc questions.
• Work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver quality software.
• Support operation of services in production.
• Perform code reviews and design reviews.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Java development experience.
• Experience working with business-critical customer-facing applications (user interfaces, APIs, and back-end services).
• Excellent communication skills with emphasis on writing detail-oriented documents and communications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Strong understanding of web UI/API and services automation testing (Selenium WebDriver/Selenide, RestAssured).
• Experience using BDD approach.
• Experience working with a Linux-based laptop.
• Experience with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins.
• Shifted working hours 12pm till 8pm EEST timezone (nice to have).

Nice to Have

• Experience with the Ad Tech industry.
• Familiarity with clustered computing, distributed, and parallel computing concepts.
