Job description
About the Position
Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is on the lookout for a Middle/Senior Data Analyst to join our team and provide exceptional customer support.
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This position combines statistical and quantitative analysis, data visualization, research, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate can identify meaningful trends, validate analytical results, and clearly explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The role requires regular overlap with US Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Analyze complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns, relationships, trends, and anomalies.
- Apply appropriate statistical and quantitative methods to validate findings and distinguish meaningful changes from normal variability.
- Use methods such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, probability analysis, time-series analysis, or simulations when relevant to the business question.
- Evaluate analytical outputs critically and verify that conclusions are supported by the available data.
- Translate analytical findings into clear conclusions and practical recommendations.
Client-Facing Analytics
- Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their questions, business challenges, and decision-making needs.
- Clarify ambiguous requests and determine what data and analysis are required to address them.
- Present findings in clear, practical language that non-technical audiences can understand and use.
- Explain analytical assumptions, limitations, and trade-offs when necessary.
- Support client decision-making with evidence-based insights and recommendations.
Data Preparation and Research
- Work with client-provided data in different formats and levels of quality or structure.
- Collect, clean, organize, validate, and prepare data for analysis.
- Identify missing information and determine how it can be obtained or supplemented.
- Research external data sources, industry benchmarks, and relevant context to support analysis.
- Investigate inconsistencies, outliers, and potential data-quality issues.
- Use AI tools appropriately to accelerate research, summarize information, support documentation, and improve analytical workflows.
Data Visualization and Reporting
- Create clear and effective charts, reports, presentations, and other visual materials.
- Select visualization approaches based on the audience and the purpose of the analysis.
- Prepare both high-level executive summaries and more detailed analytical reports.
- Ensure that visualizations communicate the meaning of the data accurately and do not create misleading conclusions.
- Maintain the accuracy of analytical outputs as underlying data or assumptions change.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business analysis, research, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
- Solid mathematical and statistical foundation.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to identify patterns, relationships, and meaningful conclusions in data.
- Experience working with incomplete, inconsistent, unstructured, or differently formatted data.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence communicating with clients and explaining analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating clear data visualizations, reports, or analytical presentations.
- Resourcefulness in finding, validating, organizing, and working with data from multiple sources.
- Proficiency with at least one analytical tool or programming environment, such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable solution.
- Strong English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience in a client-facing analytical, consulting, or decision-support role.
- Experience conducting independent research and working with external data sources or industry benchmarks.
- Practical knowledge of regression analysis, experimental design, A/B testing, forecasting, or other quantitative methods.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality-assurance practices.
- Experience using AI tools to support research, analysis, documentation, or data-quality workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms or large datasets.
