About the Position

Aweb - a digital agency with 20 years of experience in search engine optimization and contextual advertising. We are a certified Google Partner, nominated for Google Premier Partner Awards for three consecutive years, and winners in the Search Innovation category.

We are looking for a Middle SEO Specialist who can work in the conditions of search transformation: AI Overviews, zero-click SERP, multi-format output, and a data-driven approach to optimization. We value a specialist who can independently manage medium and complex projects, formulate hypotheses, test them, and scale the results.

Responsibilities

Development of project visibility in search engines and the Google ecosystem (organic, AI-blocks);
Work with semantics, search intents, and content;
Internal and external optimization of sites;
Analysis of competitors and improvement of current SEO strategies;
Generation and implementation of ideas aimed at increasing traffic and conversions;
Optimization of content considering AI Overviews and LLM responses;
Implementation of GEO approaches in content and SEO strategies of projects;
Analysis of changes in SERP (AI-blocks, zero-click, PAA, video, forums) and adjustment of strategy;
Formation of SEO hypotheses, their testing, and evaluation of results based on data;
Participation in the launch and development of new projects within the scope of their expertise.

Expertise We Value

Experience of successful promotion in an agency/studio and/or parallel management of 4–6 projects;
Ability to formulate, implement, and adapt SEO strategies considering changes in SERP, CTR drops, and zero-click scenarios;
Understanding of the principles of search engines, algorithms, the latest Google updates, and the principles of AI Overviews / Generative Search (GEO);
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, markup, structured data, and their impact on SERP and AI blocks;
Confident proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, logic, analytics);
Experience with SEO tools: Screaming Frog (or other crawlers), Ahrefs, Serpstat;
Strong analytics: Google Search Console, GA4 (data work, visualization);
Understanding of modern approaches to link building: outreach, PR links, brand mentions, content, and partnership formats;
Ability to clearly and structuredly convey information in reporting and work communication;
Experience working with Western markets is a plus.
