About the Position

Middle Software Engineer (IOS Native)

Hybrid, Remote

Locations: Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Ukraine

We are looking for a Middle iOS Developer to join a team building and supporting enterprise mobile applications used daily by business and field operations teams. In this role, you will enhance existing iOS applications, deliver new features, and contribute to solutions that improve business processes, user experience, and operational efficiency while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new iOS features based on business requirements and user needs
• Support and improve existing application functionality, performance, and stability
• Collaborate with Backend Engineers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Product Stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• Integrate and maintain REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and external services
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and architectural decisions
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during development, testing, and production support
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and engineering best practices
• Contribute to codebase modernization, technical debt reduction, application performance improvements, and AI-assisted development practices as part of the daily workflow

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in iOS development with strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit
• Understanding of MVVM and MVC architecture patterns and experience building maintainable mobile applications
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, backend services, CoreData or similar local storage solutions, and third-party SDKs
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Code practices
• Experience publishing applications to the App Store and writing and maintaining unit tests
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including writing effective prompts and validating AI-generated code
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development to improve engineering efficiency while maintaining code quality and security standards
• Upper Intermediate English level
