About the Position

ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Middle Strong/Senior Project Manager in Ukraine.

About the Project

This is a mission-critical enterprise integration initiative focused on deploying a sophisticated digital platform within a highly regulated sector. The project demands close collaboration with government agencies, corporate partners, and various stakeholders, while ensuring alignment across diverse processes, systems, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery within a Fixed Price engagement model
• Ensure project delivery in accordance with the agreed SOW, scope, timeline, budget, milestones, and acceptance criteria
• Develop and maintain project plans and coordinate estimation activities with the project team
• Track project progress, effort, resource utilization, and milestone completion
• Continuously monitor project performance against Fixed Price commitments and identify potential deviations
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints
• Proactively identify and prevent scope creep
• Manage scope changes through a structured Change Request process, including impact assessment, estimation, customer negotiation, and formal approval
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to the customer and other stakeholders
• Maintain clear and proactive communication between the customer, project team, and other involved parties
• Support the team in resolving delivery blockers and meeting agreed commitments
• Escalate critical delivery risks and issues in a timely manner
• Take ownership of project outcomes and overall delivery success

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management
• Strong hands-on expertise in Fixed Price delivery (scope, timeline, milestones, budget, acceptance criteria)
• Practical experience with SOWs, scope control, and Change Request management – including preventing scope creep and protecting agreed project boundaries
• Experience in project planning, estimation coordination, risk/issue/dependency management, and delivery tracking
• Strong client-facing skills – comfortable handling difficult conversations and negotiating changes based on their impact on scope, timeline, and cost
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
