Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

ANODA is a UI/UX design agency founded in 2013, with 13 years of experience in FinTech and SaaS startups in the US. We improve user experience, simplify complex applications, and help our clients grow revenue through better design.

We've completed dozens of successful projects, including two Behance award-winning ones. Our team is small, the ownership is real, and the work goes live - not into a presentation that disappears.

Day to Day

What you'll actually do

Not a wish list - this is what the role looks like week to week.

  • Research the problem

    • Understand user needs and business goals before opening Figma - through client briefs, competitor analysis, or quick user research.
  • Design interfaces

    • Design UI for web and mobile apps - both from scratch and on top of existing products.
  • Shape concepts

    • Develop creative ideas and concepts that turn product goals into clear interface directions.
  • Build with the team

    • Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement UI components and assets.
  • Improve the product

    • Spot weak points and suggest improvements and new solutions for the customer's product.
  • Present and iterate

    • Present design solutions to the customer and adjust layouts based on their feedback.

Requirements

What we expect from you

  • 2+ years of UI/UX design experience with a proven portfolio.
  • Experience designing data visualization tools - charts, maps, and infographics.
  • A solid grasp of composition, layout, typography, and color and how each shapes a design.
  • Understanding of UI design stages, development, and modern conventions.
  • Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma or similar.
  • A clear-minded ability to translate functional requirements into mockups.
  • Self-motivation and time management.
  • Experience with Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of adaptive web, mobile-first, and UX/UI basics.
  • Awareness of the latest trends in web design.
  • Upper-Intermediate English.
  • Psychological education.
  • Completed coaching courses.
