Middle/Senior Automation QA Engineer

About the Position

Chalice invites Middle/Senior Automation QA Engineer for long-term cooperation at its service center in Kyiv, Ukraine.

You will have the opportunity to be a part of the extension team of an international IT Consulting Company. Our Customer is a German software development and IT-consulting company, it main focus is in the systematic application of knowledge and information technologies. Main customers are national and international associations.

Founded in 2002.

About the project: the team is developing high-load websites and services for organizing online congresses for the medical sector.

Team structure: Development team of 3 Backend developers; 3 Front-end developers; 1 DevOps, 2 QA

Responsibilities

• Create and execute automation tests.
• Create and execute test cases.
• Report and verify bugs to guarantee the quality of the developed solutions.
• Keep all project QA-related documents/files up-to-date.
• Actively participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project.
• Search, record and track software bugs.
• Repeated testing of corrected errors.
• Product regression testing.
• Release testing.

Requirements

• Experience in functional and non-functional Web testing.
• 1+ years of Automation testing experience.
• Practical experience in developing test documentation.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, client-server interaction, web standards).
• Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools and processes.
• Ability to read technical and requirements documentation in English.
• Participation in End-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in analyzing project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of business and technical requirements.
• Design the relevant Test Cases/Check Lists that will effectively execute the software under test, applicable to both new and existing product functionality.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail or similar test management tools.
