Middle/Senior Back-End Engineer (PHP, 3-6 months project assignment)

About the Position

We are looking for a Middle/Senior Back-End Engineer (PHP) to support integrations and core platform initiatives for a logistics-focused fulfillment platform. This engagement is expected to last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and project priorities. An immediate start is preferred, so the ability to onboard quickly and deliver value from day one is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend features in PHP
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
• Collaborate closely with the VP of Tech and engineering team
• Ensure high code quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Contribute to performance optimization and system scalability

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP and modern backend development (at least 5+ years of hands-on coding experience)
• Solid experience with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with integrations involving third-party systems and external services
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and database design principles
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure experience is a plus)
• Understanding of software architecture and scalable application design
• Ability to ramp up quickly in an existing codebase
• Advanced English level

Nice to Have

• Experience in fast-paced product environments
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
• Experience with logistics or warehouse management systems
