About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Web engineer who is proficient with JavaScript, React. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important. Online Car Auction, new project. 75% frontend work, 25% backend work, can be adjusted if the candidate wants more/less. Existing team: 6 developers + 1 QA + 1 lead in San Francisco. All speak Russian, most speak Ukrainian.
Responsibilities
- Developing new features and APIs
- Implementing UI on the modern stack (React)
- Migrating existing GWT parts of the application to the React.js platform
- Designing multi-user resource-efficient solutions
- Coordinating with various teams working on distinct layers
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in React.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Non-Technical Skills
- Team player
- Excellent time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- MobX
