Middle/Senior SAP S/4HANA Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Middle/Senior SAP S/4HANA Engineer to join our global SAP transformation and delivery program. The specialist will be responsible for designing and developing scalable SAP solutions, supporting system integrations, and driving SAP S/4HANA modernization initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, and distributed development teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP S/4HANA applications and extensions using modern ABAP technologies.
• Build and enhance solutions using ABAP OO, RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), and OData Services.
• Design and implement APIs and integration interfaces between SAP and external systems.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Material Master Data processes and related SAP business functions.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and quality best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA development and implementation projects.
• Expertise in: **ABAP OO, ****SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), ****OData Services, **and SAP APIs and integration technologies.
• Solid understanding of Material Master Data and related business processes.
• Experience delivering solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within international and distributed teams.
• Professional English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation or migration programs.
• Knowledge of SAP integration platforms and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility concepts.
• Familiarity with additional SAP integration technologies and modern SAP development practices.
