About the Position

Middleware Engineer (Tibco)

WE ARE META is seeking a skilled Middleware Engineer proficient in Tibco for a hybrid role in Porto or Braga. If you are passionate about leveraging your expertise in Tibco, Pentaho, and REST APIs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data transformation and loading pipelines using Pentaho ETL.
Manage and consume REST APIs within integration workflows.
Ensure reliable and well-structured service communication.
Support data querying, manipulation, and troubleshooting using SQL and T-SQL.
Integrate and manage monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and Nagios.
Experience with Microsoft SSIS, Kong, and SAP projects is a plus.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering.
4+ years of professional experience as a Middleware Engineer.
Proficiency with ESB solutions, ideally Tibco (version 6 is a plus).
Strong command of SQL and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, and Nagios.
Fluency in English (B2) and Portuguese (Native).
Availability for Hybrid model (based in Porto or Braga).
Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

Nice to Have

Experience with Microsoft SSIS, Kong, and SAP.
Other Microservices-oriented ESB solutions.
