Mid/Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Mid/Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our team for a long-term, large-scale IT project in Vilnius or Kaunas.

Gross salary range: from 4000 EUR/month, plus bonuses. We are open to considering your compensation based on your skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL and SQL;
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex SQL queries;
• Analyze existing database solutions and implement improvements to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability;
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code, identify performance bottlenecks, and contribute to database performance tuning;
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in business-critical systems;
• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities;
• Collaborate with developers, system architects, business analysts, and other technical team members;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development and documentation standards;
• Work independently on assigned tasks while actively contributing to the team’s technical decisions and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development;
• Strong practical knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and SQL;
• Hands-on experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex database queries;
• Experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance optimization and troubleshooting;
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, database design principles, and transaction management;
• Experience working with large-scale or business-critical information systems would be an advantage;
• Experience with version control systems and modern software development practices;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a technical team;
• Fluent Lithuanian and good working English.

Certification is required: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate or an equivalent or higher-level Oracle certification relevant to PL/SQL development.
